Self-Worth Achievers | Women & Girl Dreamers

Standing Out Doesn’t Mean Anything If You Don’t Know Your Worth.

Glass ceilings are broken everyday by women and girls around the world. Whether you are a female high school senior, a single mother, an aspiring woman business owner, a female veteran, or a grandmother, we can all agree that there are more opportunities today than in decades past.[1]

J. S. Bullock & Associates, LLC | The Brokerage for Dreams™ would like to do its’ part by equipping you with the skills to overcome at least two recognized barriers that many with your experience face. These are the lack of knowledge about, and access to, educational and professional programs and opportunities that build your self-confidence and self-worth in today’s world.

QUICK FACTS:

  • Today, women and girls are attending college and the workforce in record numbers. In 2010 nearly 67 percent of women in the civilian labor force 25 to 64 years of age have at least some college education.[2]
  • Women now outnumber men in college, and are more likely to earn a bachelors degree.
  • Within the U.S. military where women make up less than 10 percent, women represent almost 30 percent of all military undergraduates.[3]
  • An estimated 10 million+ businesses are owned by women, and women have nearly doubled their share of patents in the past twenty years.[4]

CHALLENGES:

Within certain fields, occupations, and institutions, however, women still experience unique obstacles and hardships that delay or prevent their advancement. Despite the rising number of women entering college, earning advanced degrees, and attaining key professional positions, reportedly females still only make about $0.81 cents to every $1.00 made by their male counterparts.[5]

OPPORTUNITIES:

  • What we do know is that with increasing educational attainment, supportive networks, and professional resources, women’s participation in the labor force rises and the playing field becomes more level.
  • There are MANY national and international resources available to women and girls around the world.

J. S. Bullock & Associates, LLC | The Brokerage for Dreams™ believes it is never too late to go back to college, pursue the dream job you’ve always wanted, or maybe even start your first woman-owned small business. We can work with you to reach your goals and dreams.
